Report suspected or confirmed biological, chemical, and nuclear cases immediately to your local or state department of health.

For smallpox sample identification: Contact the Biodefense Laboratory at the NYSDOHWadsworth Center (518-474-2821), for instruction on packaging and shipping to Wadsworth. They will alert Epidemiology, and also arrange to transport the sample to the CDC
